MAGA Is a Terrorist Organization

On January 6, 2021, fourteen days before President-Elect Biden was to be inaugurated into office, the Congress of the United States gathered to count and certify the electoral votes for the offices of President and Vice President. 

Thousands of radicalized Trump supporters organized an armed insurrection into the Capitol building in Washington, D.C. The Capitol Police were quickly overwhelmed (many questions about this remain), and the members of the House and Senate that could not evacuate were hunkering down in their offices, chairs pressed up against doors. Then, the disgruntled conspiracy theorists – wearing their MAGA hats and waving their Trump confederate flags – expressed their refusal to accept the new democratically elected President by vandalizing and looting those hallowed halls.
